In 2014 Paul was appointed President and CEO of MassMutual Idaho, which he and his team have built into something special. With the growth of the firm, Mr. Hales has expanded his enterprise with career distribution to include Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming.  He has also built a national brokerage business that has financial professionals in all 50 states.

Over the years Paul has been recognized with numerous awards for Recruiting, Production, Brokerage and Leadership.  This includes National Trophies in 2014, 2016 and 2021.  GAMA International awarded Paul the International Management Award Gold (2017-2020)1.  In 2021, Paul received MassMutual’s highest honor, the Chairman’s Trophy.

Paul and his wife Tara have been married over 24 years, have 4 wonderful children, and live in Eagle.  The Hales family enjoys spending time together, riding bikes, attending sporting events, wake surfing, and skiing on powder days.
